Embedded Software Engineer
The client you will be working for is a highly respected, world-wide market leader in the development and production of high end lithographic equipment which is used in the semiconductor industry.
Software engineers from embedded software face the challenge of integrating several aspects of the machine in terms of controlling gas, fluids, optics, mechatronics and motion. This happens at the highest speed and accuracy, right at the boundaries of state-of-the-art physical and technical possibilities.
We expect from you:
• At least 2 years in a relevant Real-time embedded software development environment
• Theoretical or practical experience with position measurement systems, handling systems, control engineering, actuator design, dynamics
• Proficient in software modelling & development processes, preferably also Scrum/Agile and UML
• C, C++, Unix/Linux
In addition, we expect you to have:
• Experience with MatLab, Clearcase/ ClearQuest, Scrum/Agile, UML and Python
• Experience with PowerPC and VxWorks
• Strong communicator with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude.
• Real team player with strong Quality and Customer orientation.
• Very good English language skills, both written and verbal
• Independent, self-starter, good planning and prioritizing skills
• Eager to take initiative and ownership, decisive personality
