Required:
- 4+ years experience developing Java in a servlet/J2EE environment , or equivalent
- 3+ years exp. as a team/tech lead, or equivalent
- ability to architect distributed systems;
- knowledge of concepts such as data sharding, clustered filesystems, distributed caching
- knowledge of data caching principles and concepts, ideally with experience using a cache framework
- strong knowledge of at least one web framework e.g. Spring, Seam, Guice, ideally experience with inversion-of-control frameworks
- knowledge of Object/Relational Mapping principles, ideally with Hibernate, EJB 3, or Java Persistence
- extensive experience with all facets of software development lifecycle
- fluency in English
- team player with good communication skills; strong desire to learn and grow professionally
- Desirable/plusses:
- Experience with SQL and JDBC or Hibernate with Spring
- JavaScript, xhtml, and other web technologies
- Experience with any Vignette technology
- experience with scrum
- knowledge of operating systems: windows, linux, solaris
- Familiarity with network and distributing computing concepts
