SoftingRom was founded early 2005 in Cluj-Napoca as a development division of Softing A.G. Munich.
In the industrial automation area, SoftingRom has competences and experience in building diagnostic and control systems for PROFIBUS, PROFINET networks, in networking and configuring field devices for Modbus, Hart networks or in testing the real time Ethernet systems built at Softing Munich (PROFINET IO).
SoftingRom is involved actively in the Automotive Electronics area in the enhancement of the series of software tools grouped in the so called Diagnostic Tool Set, which provides highly specialized features for specifying and engineering ECUs (Electronic Control Units) as well as test systems and communication platforms for Test, Manufacturing and Service.
