He or she will be expected to perform following duties:
- Responsibility for construction materials purchases.
- Accomplishing various purchasing assignments that are fairly complicated in nature.
- Comparing prices and making vendor selections or suggestions.
- Arranging the delivery schedules.
He/she will not be able to negotiate the contracts conditions independently; also he/she will not be able to perform the independent decisions on purchases ¿ the approval will be required.
Minimum 2 years experience within the construction industry is required as well as fluency in speaking, reading and writing English. Knowledge of MS Office is essential. Engineering degree is desirable.
Ability to understand materials requirements and choose from several options is a must. Usually he/she is to be assisted by a senior buyer.
