The Web Content Management System Application Administrator is responsible for all technical administrative aspects of our Web Content Management System;
Installation of the CMS application components and the patching and/or application of hotfixes required to maintain the stability of the platform;
Provide support for production and pre-production environments including day to day maintenance tasks required to maintain the stability of the platform.
Performance tuning and monitoring;
Implements changes, writes scripts, making use of his/her programming knowledge;
Create and maintain system operation manual and procedural documentation;
Keeps professional contacts with other IT groups;
Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification;
At least 2-3 years experience in the administration of applications in a professional web environment;
Good knowledge of administrating Content-Management-Systems;
Experience/knowledge Sitecore CMS, will be a plus;
Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and basic programming concepts in .NET and/or Java;
Good knowledge of relational databases - MS SQL Server and Oracle;
Knowledge of system administration and process automation through the use of scripting technologies on Unix/Linux/Windows;
Experience with system management tools – Control-M, Nagios, would be a plus
Good knowledge of web security and understanding of networking protocols and services like TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, DNS, LDAP, Load balancing.
Good command of English
Ability to quickly become familiar with and maintain existing applications
Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot code, SQL, Apache/IIS, application performance
Ability to accurately estimate level-of-effort based on requirements/specifications
Fun and endurance to learn and manage the details of administrating our Web / Content-Management-Applications
E-Commerce retail knowledge would be a plus
