The waiter is responsible for taking the guests through the key phase of their Hard Rock experience. As a Hard Rock Cafe waiter, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, decision-maker, entertainer, memorabilia curator and musician (at heart).
Properly set up service station and area
Prepare any needed garnishes for the shift
Greet and welcome guests seated in your station or at the counter
Engage guests in friendly conversation
Proficiently utilize the point-of-sales system to key in drinks and food orders
Properly handle cash, credit cards, traveler¿¿¿s checks, and discounts
Has a high-level of organization, accuracy, attention-to-detail, and sense-of-urgency at all times
Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow all uniform guidelines
Take orders for drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and after dinner drinks throughout the course of the meal by utilizing standard HRC abbreviations
Pick up and deliver orders in the bar and kitchen to guests at the table within prescribed time limits
Check back a minimum of three times during the meal to ask if guests are satisfied, check for refills, give silent service (removing items, refilling, etc.), and suggestively sell additional items
Efficiently present guest check at the end of meal
Communicate with guests demonstrating confidence, encouraging guests to feel unique and special
Entertain guests
Assures the complete satisfaction of each and every guest
Creates memorable experiences for the guests
