• Installs, configures, maintains and monitors the equipment inside Nobel voice network
• Solving equipment installation and configuration related issues
• Works on interconnecting other carriers to Nobel's network (technical setup, test calls, CDRs comparison)
• SMS platform administration
• Identifies and resolves problems and restores services to the user in a timely and efficient manner with minimum disruption to the user
• Creates technical specs and technical support diagrams
• Keeps track and documents his/her actions through the internal management tools
• Collaborates with Business Development team members for continuous improvement
• Assumes ownership, has willingness to take on responsibility and manages projects to completion
• Fluency in English
• Is available to work on shifts.
• Advanced understanding of SIP and H.323 protocols
• Knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting SS7 and ISDN trunk groups
• SMS wholesale interconnections via SMPP, HTTP or SS7
• Database administration experience: MSSQL or MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Networking: routing and switching, experience with Cisco Catalyst switches. VPN and Firewalls
• Monitoring tools knowledge: Cacti, Nagios, Rancid, etc
• Ability to work under pressure, to respect dead-lines and to fulfill correctly the work duties
