Installs, configures, maintains and monitors the equipment inside Nobel voice network
Solving equipment installation and configuration related issues
Works on interconnecting other carriers to Nobel's network (technical setup, test calls, CDRs comparison)
SMS platform administration
Identifies and resolves problems and restores services to the user in a timely and efficient manner with minimum disruption to the user
Creates technical specs and technical support diagrams
Keeps track and documents his/her actions through the internal management tools
Collaborates with Business Development team members for continuous improvement
Assumes ownership, has willingness to take on responsibility and manages projects to completion
Fluency in English
Is available to work on shifts.
Advanced understanding of SIP and H.323 protocols
Knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting SS7 and ISDN trunk groups
SMS wholesale interconnections via SMPP, HTTP or SS7
Database administration experience: MSSQL or MySQL or PostgreSQL
Networking: routing and switching, experience with Cisco Catalyst switches. VPN and Firewalls
Monitoring tools knowledge: Cacti, Nagios, Rancid, etc
Ability to work under pressure, to respect dead-lines and to fulfill correctly the work duties
