Our job opportunity is a chance to expand your knowledge in an international company as a
TREASURY ACCOUNTANT (FRENCH)
Your main responsibilities include:
* Preparation of Weekly Bank Reconciliation Statements;
* Logging in to the banking system, taking bank statements and identifying customers for credit received in the bank accounts;
* Receipt bookings, investment bookings and transfers relating to treasury operations;
* Entering journal entries relating to inter-company funds transfers;
* Tracking of Unapplied receipts and following up to reduce unapplied receipts;
* Interacting with counter-parts and getting information required for treasury department;
* Ad hoc treasury assistance (eg investigation of historical data of receivables and payables);
* Weekly AR cleanup activities(eg clean up of unapplied payments, unmatched items, bank charges, customer profiles);
* Ensuring compliance to all group policies and maintain records to enable audit;
* Timely submission of tracker related to cycle time, KPI etc.
* Specific tasks at quarter ends (analysis of operating costs, accrued/deferred gross up).
The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:
* A Bachelors degree in Accountant field is required ;
* 1 – 2 years experience in Treasury ;
* Proficiently able to communicate in English and French ;
* Team-player with high ethical standards ;
* Knowledge of Computers and MS office (Excel) ;
* Worked in shared services environment and knowledge of SLA/ Quality ;
* Proven financial analysis skills and mathematical mind-set;
