Test of complex and safety-critical application software for the railway field, including:
- Specification of Test Cases on Requirements basis;
- Implementation of Test Cases for unit test and subsystem test. Writing of test programs and test data;
- Automation of Test Cases;
- Execution of manual and automated tests;
- Support of test environments, tools and simulation
- Evaluation of the test output (coverage, traceability, progress);
- Test documentation;
- Regular test reporting.
The tests will be performed in close co-operation with experts from Thales Germany and/or Thales Austria.
Education:
-Technical study of transportation, computer science, mathematics, physics or similar;
Requested technical competences:
- Knowledge of rail signalling or experience with railway applications;
- Basic knowledge in one scripting or programming language (shell scripting for Unix or Linux, Perl or others);
- Software Testing skills.
Preferred technical competences:
- One programming language: CHILL, Pascal, C/C++, Java or LISP;
- Clear Case or other Version Control Software;
- Experience working with UNIX / LINUX;
- GNU Toolchain.
Personal competencies:
- Structured and well-organised;
- Team-working;
- Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team;
- Availability to travel abroad from time to time.
Languages:
- English (very good reading and writing);
- German (basic level).
