We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
Test System Administrator / QA Engineer for Quality Assurance Business Systems
in our Bucharest-based Quality Assurance for Business Systems team.
. . . You will support our Quality Assurance Team in the Software Development Business Systems field by providing support for our test systems administration. You will also support the test team regarding test automation and test execution.
. . . You will join us in ensuring trouble-free operation of our test systems including processes and applications, and collaborate in monitoring and maintaining our work flows and systems.
. . . You will handle requests from Test System Configuration Manager, answer questions concerning ongoing operations, remedy faults and support our engineering departments in identifying and implementing solutions. To achieve this, you will collaborate with our Test Managers, development departments and system administration.
. . . Your tasks also include installation and configuration of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), JBoss, application deployment (e.g. Webservice), maintenance of data in various databases, system configuration, cooperation in planning, design and tests, as well as support in defect management and documentation.
. . . You will provide the QA Team with ideas for Automation of daily testing tasks. If the need arises, you will also program tools to support daily work in test automation, monitoring or evaluation scope.
Rapidly changing challenges in our spectrum of tasks due to the continuous development and re-engineering of existing systems, along with continually changing requirements, are the rule, rather than an exception.
In order to cope with these challenges, we expect you to have technical training and a degree in technology. We also expect that:
. . . You are familiar with the Linux/Unix environments, but can also handle Office applications,
. . . You have technical know-how relating to scripting languages (perl, php) and some experience in Java programming,
. . . You have a good command of SQL (mysql, Sybase),
. . . You are familiar with SOAP, WebServices, J2EE / ESB,
. . . You have experience and knowledge of application servers: Tomcat, JBoss,
. . . You have experience in automation of test cases either with official tools (Selenium) or with inhouse developed solutions,
. . . Because you will have regular dealings with colleagues abroad, you have a good working knowledge of written and spoken English,
. . . Ideally, you possess some job experience in IT operations, infrastructure, technical support,
. . . You possess analytic skills, are quick to grasp situations and willing to learn. Your working style is characterized by an autonomous, diligent, reliable and target-oriented approach,
. . . You enjoy a communicative position and like working in a team. You assess your work by reference to our continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction,
. . . You are capable of autonomously mastering new aspects of your work, and are prepared to collect, document and disseminate to colleagues the information required to do so.
Would be a plus:
. . . You have experience in working with/in a business systems department;
. . . You have experience with tools like: Jira, Bugzilla, TestLink
. . . You have networking knowledge and HTML and XML knowledge;
. . . You have experience with version control systems (Subversion)
