This role is responsible for maximising sales against pre-determined income targets using telephone. The post holder will identify new leads and opportunities for the sales team through a range of interventions, making appointments with potential new clients and supporting existing business.
Responsibilities will incorporate: Developing relationship with allocated clients, selling appropriate products and services to those customers, maximising sales opportunities to allocated customers and meeting target and revenue expectations as agreed with line management.
-to sell products and services, via the telephone, meeting target and budget figures as agreed with line management;
-to achive agreed monthly / quarterly sales targets;
-to pro-actively service clients allocated within the category by working with line management and colleagues in pursuit of information;
-participation and involvement in team meetings and provision of feedback and ideas to ensure personal targets are met;
-to pro-actively deal with customer feedback and complaints seeking support and guidance as appropriate to ensure company stance is followed;
-display a commitment to personal learning to ensure sales skills are developed;
-to ensure that departmental standards are met with regard to attendance, performance, punctuality, professionalism and dress code;
-to undertake other duties and responsabilities as directed by management team from time to time;
-good general level of education;
-ambitious telesales professional with proven telesales experience;
-good sales skills and track record in achieving demanding sales targets are essential;
-energetic self starter;
-good telephone manner;
-proven numerical and written skills;
-good organisational ability;
-able to work effectively as part of a team;
-able to achieve good levels of client satisfaction and repeat business;
-must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word;
-willingness to adapt and respond to the changing and varied needs of clients;
- verry good knowledge of English.
