Main responsibilities:
- Identify, specify and implement improvements to the way the software and hardware works regarding the servers, databases and network.
- End-to-end, stress and load testing new features before they become operational.
- Analyze problems and recommend solutions together with the System, Database and Network Operational Support.
- Develop and implement new concepts / solutions /standards regarding technology in systems, databases and network.
- Create and maintain up to date documentation for procedures related to the administered systems and the communication networks.
- Share experience with the various hardware equipment and software programs with other members of the team in order to minimize time spent in issues resolution.
Main requirements:
- University degree preferably in Computer Science.
- 1-3 years of experience in opperational support or as System/ Database/ Network Administrator.
- Extensive experience in technology testing.
- Extensive experience with Unix/ Windows operating systems or with SQL or with administration/ development of voice and data networks.
- Server/ Database/ Network Administration or Development certification would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of English.
