The Global Technical Support Centre (GTSC) located in Bucharest, provides high technical service and support for Microsoft’s European Enterprise and Development customers. The center is part of Microsoft Global Support Operations and is staffed by highly skilled technical specialists in enterprise Platforms, Business and Developer Applications.

We are currently recruiting for MICROSOFT ACADEMY COLLEGE HIRE (MACH)– Technical Support Engineers PROGRAM.

The MACH is a program dedicated to graduates from colleges and universities or MBA with a unique desire to achieve their potential in a passionate and result oriented team. Combining balanced work and training, MACH provides the perfect transition between academia and professional life.

This year, MACH in Romania will be focused on Technical Support Engineering role.

MACH Technical Program is aimed at graduates and postgraduates with strong techincal qualifications and passion. Participants will learn the GTSC culture at Microsoft in preparation for a Technical Support Engineer position in a local and remote team.

As we work with German speaking high technical customers, knowledge of German language is a MUST.


MACH Offer: a Technical Support Engineer role position combined with an outstanding 2 year development program designed as it follows:

Year 1: on-boarding and trainings
Year 2: career development

Shadowing: You will work full-time, alongside experienced colleagues, and will be supported and guided by a dedicated mentor throughout the whole programme. In common with all Microsoft employees, graduates are encouraged to be themselves, to voice their opinions and to approach challenges, no matter how technical, in a very human way.

Global exposure—You’ll participate in worldwide meetings, interact with peers in workshops and trainings, and leverage technology to foster your global community. You’ll also have opportunities to travel and enjoy experiences planned exclusively for MACH participants.

Responsibilities of a Technical Support Engineer:

  • Using broad and in-depth product knowledge provide and facilitate the responsive delivery of technical solutions and information to major customers;
  • Provide solutions to complex problems that satisfy our German/ French speaking customer base. This involves dealing with difficult situations including complaint handling, sensitive customers and mission critical support;
  • Build customer and partner loyalty through customer orientation, responsiveness and accountability;
  • Work in an international environment and collaborate with your team to provide high-level support; 


 

REQUIREMENTS

- University degree in Computer Science or related subject,
- Passion for technology
- Proven experience with excellent results in implementing different projects
- Excellent command of both German and English
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Problem solver and analytical thinging , 
- Customer and result oriented
