RESPONSABILITATI

A Technical Consultant is responsible for releasing Solution framework by integrating eSG SW, 3rd Party SW,
System components, reference configuration and reference documents.


Duties and responsibilities:
• Contributes and adheres to delivery practice aiming to deliver formal solution releases answering customer needs (Product, customer project and Maintenance Release requirements) and integrating all needed solution components.
• Applies delivery practice in Engineering projects and use selected Release Management tools to deliver toward COO organization.
• Contributes in design and building of Solution framework in a repeatable and predictable way
• Provides the Engineering, Support and Services teams with the assistance required, helping them to achieve their objectives when building or deploying solution framework
• Identification of tasks which require automating and automating them in the scope of building and deploying solution framework
• Works with IT Systems Engineer in order to be sure that technology and necessary test

Key relationships:


Internal: Engineering Management, Project Managers, Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Other Delivery Engineers, Architects, Telco Solutions team members, Services Engineers, Services Architects.


External: Third party suppliers, Business partners.


CERINTE

Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience


Technical Knowledge:
• Knowledge of eServGlobal’s products and services is a plus
• Knowledge of SUN hardware and related system software (Unix, Solaris OS, Clustering, Oracle DB, Informix DB)

• Knowledge of telecommunication protocols for value added services (INAP, TCAP, H.323, CAMEL, ISUP,SS7,SIP/RTP,SIP-I)

• Experience in scripting languages (PERL/Shell/PHP)

• Experience with Python
• Windows experience including: Windows XP & Windows 7, Office 2003-2007


Industry knowledge:
Awareness of fixed line and/or mobile telecom operators


Communication skills:
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Strong written and verbal skills
• The ability to work and interact effectively in a team environment


Project management skills:
Ability to achieve agreed deliverable, monitor and report progress.
This position involves travelling on eServGlobal’ s customers’ sites 80% of working time.
