We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
System Administrator, specialized in operating JEE applications
in our Bucharest-based Java Development teams
What would you do?
You will….
…get to know and understand in depth JEE applications developed in house
…install and operate on JBoss Application Server
…monitor and supervise applications deployed on JBoss
…analyze applications incidents as well as case-base troubleshooting
…monitoring applications log files
…monitor application usage of MySQL and collaborate with DB administrators in solving incidents and measuring performance
…have occasionally on-duty calls
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team
If you have:
…good understanding of Linux operating system
…at least 2-3 years experience with installing, configuring and administrating Linux distributions, particularly Debian, preferably in a business environment
…good scripting skills, in at least one of the following languages: Bash, Python, Perl
…solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts
...experience with Apache web-server, configuring and administrating modules (e.g. mod_jk, mod_ssl)
…basic knowledge of MySQL
Would be a plus:
…knowledge of JBoss AS
…knowledge of load-balancing concepts and solutions
…experience with relational and NoSQL databases
…knowledge of Java programming language
…knowledge of German language
