RESPONSABILITATI

- Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting server based Applications; Microsoft SQL, Advanced Scripting, Data Warehouse and Web Server tuning.
- Responsible for incident identification and resolution for level I issues. The SA will escalate to an outside vendor relating to desktops (PCs, Laptops) or the NOC for Level II support. The SA will use enterprise-monitoring tools to monitor all systems and respond based on enterprise standards. The SA will work closely with the NOC throughout all incidents. The SA may augment the Sykes Security Manager as a trusted agent when warranted.


CERINTE

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Communications Engineering desired.
- 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MCSE preferred
- MCP required
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2003 server’s management applications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007 account management
- General knowledge and understanding of a Customer Support Center.
- Solid understanding of windows client operating systems
- Solid understanding of MS Exchange client software
- Basic Understanding of Windows 2000
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- 2-5 years data center engineering, network administration or systems administration in a large corporate IT environment with mixed OSs.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Understanding of environmental regulations governing data center facilities and operations.
- Working knowledge of physical and systems security issues impacting on data center operations.
- Works well with internal and external IT support teams
- Develops rapport and trust

- On call after normal working hours
- Understands the relevant aspects of the client products/programs supported
- Strives to maintain a sound knowledge of the client
