RESPONSABILITATI

Responsibilities:
• Support for internal teams and customers in order to diagnose and fix issues or add features
• Linux servers maintenance and monitoring
• Script writing for improved administration
• Maintenance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of various software applications used
• Bug reporting and working on bug/support tickets
• Collaboration with both local and remote team members
• Identifying bugs/problems by reading daily system logs
• Reports to Lead Sysadmin/Coordinator and/or CTO


CERINTE

Desired profile:
• Bachelor degree or higher in network/computing/telecommunications
• 2-5 working years experience in support and Linux systems administration
• Both written and verbal English
• Pro-active and independent worker whilst strong team spirit and involvement
• High proficiency with scripting and automation in Linux
• Open-minded with good communication skills
• Good sense of work priority, delivering the expected results within the established timelines
• Organized with basic management skills
• Fast learner and result oriented

Desired knowledge:
• Debian Linux experience
• Server monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix)
• Fundamentals of networking knowledge
• SMTP and DNS knowledge
• SSH, TCP/IP protocols, HTTP, SSL, iptables, rsync
• Bash scripting
• Knowledge of PHP development, Python development
• MySQL replication & management knowledge
• Familiarity with email-related security systems (e.g. DNSBL, DKIM, SPF)
