Investigation / troubleshooting / testing reported customer issues on planning made by the technical leader / project manager
Laboratory configuration for implementing replication problem and solution testing
Good understanding of physical layer protocols (SONET/SDH, Ethernet, DS1/E1)
Good understanding of WAN solutions (circuit based - ATM/FR)
- Congestion Management
- Signalling for Virtual Circuits (reading standards?)
- QualityOfService for voice/data integrated solutions (AAL 1/5, IP QoS)
Good understanding of IP stack and IP routing protocols (RIP/OSPF)
Unix (Solaris/Linux) - user level
Experience in working with telecom platforms:
- debugging comands for Unix/Linux based platforms
- able to understand the sw architecture/functionality for a specific telecom product
- able to understand a specific HW architecture for telecom
Very good level of English.
Depending on professional background and experience, a competitive compensation package is offered.
