Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst whose mission will be to promote and implement strategic sourcing, proactively managing assigned portfolio and supply base with a long term, strategic focus. She/He will be directly responsible for purchases of assigned portfolio and follow up until customer’s delivery.
Main responsibilities:
-Responsible for the purchase of goods and services, including suppliers’ transaction, item definition and quantities, delivery and payment follow-up.
-Develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodities or services with the goal of sustaining continuous cost reductions and quality, service, and delivery improvements.
-Locate, select and manage a high-performance supply base for assigned commodities or services.
-Obtain & analyze quotations and negotiate total cost elements for assigned portfolio.
-Participate in or lead supplier certification and quality system review efforts.
-Use measurement tools and monitor supplier performance.
-Prepare periodical reports as agreed with management.
-Create and manage supply agreements.
-Health, Safety & Environment: Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, in all aspects of the Supply Chain activity.
• BA/BS Degree in Supply Chain Management or Equivalent
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in Supply Chain Management
• Very good knowledge of business English language;
• Excellent computer literacy - SAP is an advantage;
Analytical skills and strong ethics in dealings with Suppliers & Contractors.
