If so, Colibris Software is looking to hire a Software Engineer to work on the design and implementation of a highly scalable, distributed platform. You will also be involved in implementing and supporting a highly scalable, real-time backend solution for a next-generation app platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, implementation, optimization and support of highly scalable backend system
• Configuring, tuning, testing and maintaining production and staging environme
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of of industry experience (or equivalent) and a demonstrated track record of success
• Practical experience in DB design, implementation and support
• Practical experience developing in a Linux environment
• Strong software engineering, architecture, and design skills combined with a drive to solve hard problems are a must
• High standards for code quality, consistency, and test coverage
• Knowledge of Service oriented architecture (REST)
• A strong team player, self motivated and good attitude
PLUS
• Solid background in mathematics, algorithms and data structures
• Experience with distributed systems (high scale, high availability)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Knowledge of dynamic/functional programming language (Python, Ruby, Perl)
• Previous agile environment experience
Located in Bucharest, our office is a relaxed work environment without formal schedules or cubicles.
