Mission:
- To ensure the role of Strategic Buyer for indirect materials and services in collaboration with Strategic and Operational Buyers, negotiating and creating contracts so that direct materials are purchased according to specifications and sourced from approved and well-performing suppliers. To reduce total cost of ownership.
Responsibilities:
- To prepare and analyse cost improvement tracking.
- Negotiate long term purchase agreements.
- To contribute to the profiling and selection of suppliers for direct materials and services.
- To manage or participate to the implementation of new suppliers transition plan (monitor progress, take corrective actions, report progress, manage supply base).
- Manage the daily relationship with the vendors and ensures that claims are properly managed and reported in a timely manner, with implementation of necessary action plans.
- To provide purchasing inputs to Business Units (e.g. inputs for cost studies/simulation).
- To manage supply chain initiatives.
- University Degree;
- Minimum four years in similar positions;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Managing finance;
- Communication;
- Presentation skills;
- English proficiency;
