* Work independently and own multiple features of the product.
* Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs.
* Design & implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications.
* Interact with the quality engineers, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
* Perform research on various technologies useful for the project.
* Provide status and feedback to both the local and the US management.
* B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
* 6 or more years of industry experience, out of which at least 5 years with building and deploying web applications written in J2EE or Python.
* Ability to understand complex technical information is a must.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Some knowledge of web client-side technologies (JavaScript/Ajax, CSS, XHTML, DOM) and web standards. Flex/ActionScript is a big plus.
* Familiar with at least one scripting language (bash, Ruby, etc.).
* Good knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one Database Management System (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
* Knowledge of Web 2.0 concepts and applications (blogging, tagging, folksonomies, social bookmarking, wiki, etc.). Advertising knowledge is a plus.
* Highly enthusiastic, creative, with entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to innovate.
* Solid foundation in development processes, best practices and design patterns.
* Client-centric thinking.
* Superior time management skills.
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
