The position is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent after a few months.
You will work with a team of talented developers and quality engineers within the Adobe SaaS Infrastructure Team. You have to be very knowledgeable in scalable web architectures, distributed systems and patterns for enterprise application integration.
You will be responsible for taking specific product features through entire life cycle, from requirement analysis to delivery, meeting the reliability, performance and quality targets required in our company. CTSIO is a service providing features to new Adobe SaaS or hybrid products such as Photoshop Express, Photoshop Elements, Creative Suite Review or Acrobat.com.
Responsibilities :
As a member of our team, you will
* Work independently and own multiple features of the product
* Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs
* Design & implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications
* Interact with the quality engineers, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
* Perform research on various technologies useful for the project.
* Provide status and feedback to management
For this job we are searching for professionals that meet the following criteria:
* 3+ years of software development experience
* Experience building and deploying web applications with at least two server technologies (for example, but not limited to: Python, PHP, J2EE, .NET, RoR etc.) one of which is based on Java
* Good knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one DBMS
* Knowledge of client-side development (Actionscript and Flash/Flex , HTML/ Javascript) is considered a plus
* Experience with Web Services and SOAs (REST, SOAP) is considered a big plus
* Solid foundation in development process, best practices and design patterns
* Good knowledge of code-versioning tools and practices
* Strong knowledge of code-editors, debuggers, profilers and other tools for the technologies he owns
* B.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is a bonus)
* Effective communication with the local and remote team member
* You must be enthusiastic, creative and have the desire to innovate
