* Create & update stored procedures for databases;
* Work with SQL programming for developing special applications within department (for workflow optimisation ¿ when requested)
* Help with SQL programming all the analysts for cleaning databases, integration and reports;
* Maintain the database environment as assigned;
* Provide technical assistance in the development and maintenance of plans, documentation, standards and procedures.
* Strong knowledge about SQL programming (SQL Server particularities), Oracle, C# and PHP:
1. SQL Server:
- experience in SQL and large data bases optimization (20-30 GB tables, tuning using specialized tools, partitioned tables)
- working experience using stored procedures, dynamic scripts, T-SQL advanced knowledge.
2. Oracle:
- experience in SQL optimization and large data bases (20-30 GB tables, tuning using specialized tools, partitioned tables, clusters)
- Oracle work experience;
- work experience using stored procedures, dynamic scripts, PL/SQL advanced knowledge;
- experience in Oracle data bases administration (table-spaces, data files, etc.)
3. C# :
- strong knowledge of object-oriented programming ;
- experience on 3-Tier architecture, both desktop and web applications;
- working experience in .NET 2005
* Knowledge about MySQL server would be a plus;
* Advanced database clustering/mirroring technologies, maintaining data integrity and cleaning up bad/old data will also be a priority, very detail oriented (for change management), multi-tasking capabilities not compulsory but would be a plus.
*Experience and ability to teach or instruct others (including persons who do not have a technical background);
* Experience using and operating in a WINDOWS environment.
