-Perform Impact Analysis with assistance from KPN ITNL Innovatie (Design Team) for new Mediation requirements or Change Requests
-Requirements gathering and preparing functional design documents for various Mediation projects underway at KPN. This would require interaction with the KPN Billing teams and/or Demand team, Architects, Design experts and KPN staff managing the Operations (Beheer) and also KPN Testing team in arriving at solutions that meet the mediation requirements.
-Be involved in the reviews of the functional design with all stakeholders (listed above).
-Interact with the vendor Comptel in transforming the functional design into a technical design. Participate in reviews of the Comptel Technical Specs and later Stream specs delivered by Comptel.
-Support test team in preparation of Test plan/ Test scripts by involvement in reviews
-Provide support to testing team in identifying/raising and tracking defects during various testing phases.
mediation skills, understanding of billing processes, understanding of telecom processes, understanding of Comptel and EventLink. Good communicator, being able to make functional designs, being able to translate business requirements into functional design, interact with business and FAM.
- Have experience in Telco OSS-BSS domain especially in Billing-Mediation implementation projects.
-Good understanding of mediation concepts
-Knowledge of Comptel EventLink Mediation (is an advantage but not a must) or any other known Mediation products in the market
-UML/ OOAD Experience
-Knowledge of NGOSS/ eTOM frameworks
-Good communication skills
-Know-how on Comptel Reporter Tool, Alarm Dispatcher would be an advantage but not a must.
