-Define working solutions that can be implemented using technology by applying proven methods and abstract knowledge. Write and / or review High and Low Level Design specification documentation.
-Articulate clearly functional and non-functional requirements to business and technical stakeholders. Prepare solution presentations for internal and external customers.
-Lead analysis, pre-studies and feasibility studies of an existing or planned solution with internal and external customers. Able to work with given restrictions and constraints in order to match customer requirements.
-Support the Project Managers in breaking down the solution into activities and provide effort estimates to make project budgets.
-Owns the technical solution during the definition phase as well as delivery phase. Handling scope, risks, changes and customer expectations.
-Responsible for assigning activities & review delivery progress with solution integrators, engineering teams and software developers.
-University degree and/or Masters with a major in Telecom, IT or equivalent (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering);
-Good understanding of OSS solution components and technologies;
-Consultative / collaborative mindset with a strong drive to solve problems;
-A team-oriented worker able to act in a multicultural environment;
-Understands and uses presentation techniques to structure and present an argument so that the desired result is attained.
-Inspire others and create enthusiasm for a common way forward. Motivate others, support their development and create an environment of excellence in a team.
-Good understanding of process management frameworks and standards (e.g. eTOM, NGOSS, ITIL Service Management, ITU-TISO standards etc)
-Advanced technical knowledge of Telecom environment: mobile networks in general (2G, 3G, 4G) as well as different technological areas like RAN, core networks, TX, VAS
-Demonstrates research and investigation skills, systematically analyzes and identifies causes and effect, anticipates obstacles and strives ahead, develops conclusions based on facts;
-Good written and spoken English.
Experience needed
-Minimum 3 years in similar positions proven by references or examples
-Previous integration and configuration experience with IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus products is beneficial.
