Responsibilities:
Reviewing and updating existing documentation
Plan, design, write and deliver high-quality documentation such as user guides, installation guides, release notes etc
Understand existing applications and document them by collecting, analyzing and organizing information from various sources
Collaborate with QA and Development teams
Acting as customer advocate; providing product feedback and submitting enhancement requests.
Required Skills
Technical writing experience in software industry
Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Word (including styles and formatting, templates)
Experience with HTML and PDF authoring
Good planning, organizing and communication skills
Ability to learn complex programming languages and technologies, to work with various teams (development, QA, sales etc)
Familiarity with any of the following: Photoshop, XML/DocBook is a plus
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related fields is a plus
Proactive, flexible and open to new, constant positive attitude
Excellent command of written/spoken English
