We seek:
A team player that designs, develops, extends and maintains enterprise-level applications built upon Microsoft Technologies. As a software engineer for our company you will integrate and maintain current integrations of video surveillance technologies, implying real-time and video playback rendering (H.264, MJPEG and MxPEG streams), camera pan-tilt-zoom control (PTZ), video events processing, image correction and processing, and video analytics (advanced motion detection, license plate detection/recognition, tripwire crossing, object left/removed detection etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Develop distributed applications on Microsoft .NET Framework using SOA pattern: WCF for middle level, Windows (WPF and Windows Forms) and web applications for client side, and database applications (Microsoft SQL Server)
- A team player that designs, develops, extends, and maintains enterprise-level applications built upon Microsoft Windows technologies
- Participates in developing technical designs and architecture of complex projects.
- Solves complex analytical problems
- Understands the use of industry tools and technology and how their implementation affects project goals
- Creates technical documentation such as function specifications, design documents, and code comments
- Participates in developing quality activities such as code reviews, integration testing
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of programming experience (preferably .NET Framework);
- Knowledge of C# and Microsoft .NET Framework;
- C/C++, and interoperability between managed and native software components (COM components, ActiveX, etc.), driver knowledge is a plus;
- Knowledge of deterministic, non-deterministic and image processing algorithms and data structures;
- Understanding of overall .NET API: presentation options (WPF, Windows Forms and ASP.NET), data access (ADO.NET Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL), services (WCF and ASP.NET Web Services), security and network;
- Ability to demonstrate expanded analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics
- Team player - ability to work as part of a team of developers, good communication skills.
