.Qualifications and Requirements:
- Computer Science/Engineer BA degree or equivalent degree
- Experience with Shell Scripting is an advantage.
- Experience with Perl Programming is an advantage.
- Experience with Source Control software is an advantage.
- Experience with InstallAnywhere and/or other installers is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of software development on Windows and UNIX platform is required.
Specialty-Qualifications:
- Experience with CVS or Subversion is a plus.
- Object oriented design and implementation experience in Java is a plus.
- Experience with MySQL Database Administration is a plus.

As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing scripts (install, configuration, packaging) and tools for our Network Management applications.
You will participate in all stages of product development from the initial product definition through architecture, design, code, testing phases to release to manufacturing.
You will work with software developers to fully understand various features of your product release and come up with requirements and design for the install program required for the product.
Responsibilities will include providing work estimates, participating in the design effort, developing code modules and installations, participating in code reviews, and unit and integration testing.
Software Engineer (Scripting) is expected to work with limited supervision and be able to independently deliver software and integrate with the larger project team.
