We are looking for a Software De-veloper for the Stratinis development team in Bucharest. You will be part of the team working on our enterprise class software for price and discount management.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Develop software using Visual Studio 2008 / C# / ASP.Net 2.0 / MS SQL Server
• Engage in discussions and input to the technical strategy and architecture.
• Engage in and support the quality assurance process through out the product lifecycle to eliminate architecture, design and coding defects at the source.
• As a member of the development team to ensure delivery on time and target
• You will be required to document your work, to have a high awareness of software security, quality practices and testing and be confident with rapid build cycles.
Skills/ Candidate Requirements:
• Ideally an academic degree within computer science, engineering or mathematics.
• English read, spoken and written
• 2+ years as individual contributor in software development team
• Experienced Visual C# / ASP.NET developer. Minimum 2 years of actual development.
• Strong user of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 2008. Preference to candi-dates with at least 1 year’s experience in Visual Studio Team System.
• At least 1 year’s experience in developing against Microsoft SQL Server as backend.
• A commitment to quality. Experience in usage of test tools.
• Willingness to take ownership of features and drive them to completion
• Ability to function well both independently and as a team member
• Project-focused attitude, ability to work with a team.
• Demonstrable ability to learn.
• Positive attitude and self-motivated.
