Introduction

PwC is currently looking for Sharepoint Application Specialist to join our growing Applications Operations Team.

The role

The role is based In Bucharest, Romania but it will provide daily suport concerning several Sharepoint-based internal applications hosted in a Regional Datacenter. The role will be a part of the Global IT organisation of PwC.
The SharePoint Application Specialist will require a deep knowledge of PwC IT SharePoint based services and experience in the field of information and collaboration technologies. Role will have an understanding of the business functions to resolve various business challenges in regards to internal information and collaboration.

His/her main responsibilities will be:

- Liaises with other PwC IT teams to address issues related to the IT infrastructure used by SharePoint
environment
- Assures SharePoint based services are maintained to meet or exceed the requirements of clients
- Operate incident/problem/change management systems cooperating 1st level and 3nd level support
- Works on new application/new party/territory take over into into support
- Resolve complex issues in relation to SharePoint based solutions raised by users, communicates solution,
progress on resolution
- Contribute in preparation of evaluation documents and performs testing of proposed solutions
- Has strong problem-solving, analytical skills, focuses on details
- Works on complex projects of varying scope
- Provides input into the decision-making process


CERINTE

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills and/or experiences:
- Commitment to the high quality orientation to satisfy the customer.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint platform and Microsoft SQL Server technologies (with special attention
to Reporting Services)
- Experience in Microsoft SharePoint system establishment including both infrastructure and application
development and deployments experience in administering Microsoft SharePoint Environment and Microsoft
SQL Server
- Experience in programming of SQL Server and SharePoint environments, knowledge of customization
options of standard SharePoint framework available, knowledge of SharePoint Object Model and
development tools to support SharePoint development
- Experience with Microsoft-based services architecture, integration and deployment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and clients.
- Ability to clearly articulate and discuss technical changes
