-Conduct detailed analysis and review of credit proposals to ensure they are complete, accurate, consistent, and comply with current policy and procedure for lease proposals to be presented to approval authorities;
-Identify and present in written key policy, deal structuring, and risk issues to be addressed and advise account managers on presentation issues, ING Lease policy, risk acceptance standards, deal structuring to ensure that proposals address all key risks prior to submission for approval;
-Assist with credit process administration, including following pending items in Head Office and assisting Head Office and regional Risk Management inquiries on reports and specific proposals;
-Track proposal progress and documentation checklists.
-Review document packages to ensure that all documents required are present and consistent with approval conditions. Determine that all exceptions to be approved, standard documents are prepared or approved by the relevant internal authorities, that original documents are securely filed when received, and that documents and documentation checklists are initialled prior to disbursement.
-Monitor account management follow-up on pending documentation, past due reviews, arrears and any policy and procedural exceptions. Verify the suitability and accuracy of RAROC &LGD reports and Lessee¿s credit Ratings, Collateral Reports, Real Estate and Collateral Asset Appraisals as required to fully understand and follow credit proposals and client relationships under review.
-Prepare and review required reports to assist the department in meeting its portfolio quality, monitoring and reporting objectives.
-University degree or comparable secondary level education in a relevant field such as finance, business, economics or accounting;
-3-5 years of bank or leasing experience, generally in a credit analyst, corporate lending or risk management position;
