- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications;
- Performs a variety of highly-skilled duties such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary technical teams made up of professionals;
- Facilitates and troubleshoots all problems associated with the coordination of complex industrial projects;
- Provides highly-skilled technical and managerial advice and assistance to department, company, contractors and project team;
- Chairs various project review and progress report meetings, establishing and maintaining liaisons as required with Company’s Boards and Steering Committees;
- Coordinates schedules of staff and other parties involved, providing supervision and guidance to all assigned staff;
- Monitors and controls project through administrative direction of on-site supervisors to ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget and complying to quality standards;
- Represents company in project meetings and attends strategy meetings with relevance to the project;
- Manages the financial aspects of project contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the contractors;
- Requisitions supplies and materials to complete project;
- Formulates reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling.
- University Degree in Engineering; MBA would be a valuable asset;
- Professional education in Project Management (PMI certification preferred);
- 5+ years of experience in industrial construction, with 3+ years experience in project management for industrial construction projects;
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas: business plans, investment monitoring, experience in oil & gas projects, contracting; international exposure would be an important factor;
- MS Project is a must, exposure to Primavera would be a significant advantage;
- Fluency in English;
- Driving license - type B and consistent, uneventful driving experience;
- Availability for traveling and working out of Bucharest 70% of the working time.
