Key tasks
• Provides technical expertise in the fields of servers and networking; competitive knowledge and product positioning
• Supports Sales Teams in preparation of proposals, definition of technical solutions in competitive environment, qualification of 3rd party solutions when required, responds to requests for information or pricing
• Prepares and holds product marketing presentations for customers and sales partners, performs demonstrations at trade shows and other events
• Consultative selling, works closely with potential customers to determine how the company can best serve their unique needs
• Responsible for technical feasibility of Bull Infrastructure projects
• Indirect Sales and Customer Service support: supports information flow to partners and Customer Service Engineers for Bull products, connection to corresponding Bull Competence Centers
• Continuously develop the technical capabilities, to ensure up-to-date expertise for offering the best solutions to our customers

• is business and sales-oriented, stress resistant, strongly pursuing customer satisfaction
• is team player, ready to share his technical knowledge and cooperate with other teams within the company, should demonstrate technical leadership
• is deadline sensitive, has good self-management capability.
• willingness to travel throughout Europe, mainly for training purposes
• fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing), French or German is a plus
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science
• Deep knowledge in server field (Windows and Linux-based systems in datacenter environments), high availability solutions, database architectures, system management
• Entirely understand the following domains: storage solutions (SAN infrastructure, Storage Arrays, Data Backup systems, Disaster Recovery), networking, virtualization
Required experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as Pre-sales/Technical Expert/Product Manager of (one of the following):
• Enterprise-Class Servers / Storage solutions, in charge with product management and technical support
• x86 / Blade and virtualization technology solutions, High-Availability solutions (any of the following: Microsoft Windows Server, UNIX, Linux/Open source systems), clustering solutions and SQL Server/Oracle database systems
• SAN/NAS infrastructure with either EMC/Hitachi/IBM/HP storage systems, data backup systems (at least one of the following: Symantec/Veritas, EMC/Legato NetWorker, CommVault, CA, IBM TSM, HP Data Protector)
