Summary of the job:
This position is for a Software Engineer who will focus on providing scalability solutions as well as optimization network communication algorithms for both low level clients and also server to server traffic.
The role calls for an excellent software design skills and hands-on implementation, including collaboration with other disciplines and mentorship as necessary.
Main objective of the role:
Provide expertise for projects in Romania’s studio as well as for other Ubisoft’s studios in Montreal, Paris, Barcelona, Dusseldorf.
Audits communication performance and network algorithm scalability;
Defines low test agents;
Evaluate load tests results;
Provides network scalability solutions
Core Skills and Experience:
Advanced knowledge of C++
Experience in creating robust code, documentation, build/deployment systems and unit testing frameworks;
Experience with network protocols, distributed systems and scalability algorithms;
Experience with both Windows and Linux;
Fluent in both written and spoken English;
Python script knowledge, ISO + is considered a plus
