* The Senior IT Specialist will be responsible for investigating, tracking, and concluding security incidents that occurs within the network, investigating hack attempts and enforcing bandwidth, copyright and other policies.
* Provides all the technical support needed (installing, administration, configuring and maintenance) for users.
* The person is responsible in assisting the development of tools to monitor the network, providing user support for access to the network, printers and servers, performing computer operations duties.
* Oversee and prioritize maintenance of hardware and software;
* Evaluate and recommend hardware and software purchases and configurations.
* Diagnose network problems and provide solutions under pressure and time constraints.
* Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
* Windows 2000/XP operating systems (security updates, account management)
* Good knowledge Windows 2000/2003 Server (working knowledge of Active Directory would be a plus)
* Working knowledge of Linux, ability to prioritize tasks and handle emergency situations
* Comfortable with all aspects of system administration (i.e, system installation and configuration, system security, installing third party software, system troubleshooting), experience with hardware troubleshooting
* Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly
* Attention to detail
* Minimum 3 year experience
* English - very good knowledge
