We are looking for an energetic, innovative and creative Senior Graphic Designer to join our digital marketing team and help us to take our brand to the next level.
The Senior Graphic Designer will need to have a strong portfolio that demonstrates skills in layout, clean design and will have experience working with web imagery, info graphics, brochures, presentations, factsheets and Expo material (such as stands and pull up banners). The Senior Graphic Designer will be creative, conceptual, have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in the use of Adobe Creative Suite.
The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the Head of Digital and Design in order to drive key projects which will take the Temenos brand forward into the digital era. You will also guide other teams in order to implement the best design solutions to their visual communication needs as well as providing direct guidance to their project requirements, both for digital and print.
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining brand standards in design and presentation;
• Taking creative briefs from Marketing team whilst advising them on the best possible style and layout for design work within strict corporate brand guidelines;
• Take the lead for design projects and anticipate and define project parameters and advising on the best course of action and delivery, as well as pre-empting and resolving issues;
• Creating and presenting distinct/stylish creative concepts which fit the briefing criteria;
• Liaising with external suppliers, such as printers and to ensure at work a consistent level of quality is maintained at all times;
• Guiding and advise junior members of design team.
Skills:
• Expert design skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, InCopy, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and Dreamweaver);
• Competent on both PC and Mac operating platforms;
• In depth knowledge of graphic design principles, both technical and creative on both digital and print landscapes;
• Strong project management skills;
• MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Word skills essential;
• Ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team;
• Working knowledge of HTML understanding of Microsoft SharePoint useful but not essential;
• A great team player but also motivated, assertive self-starter with approachable style;
• Collaborative by nature, assertive, comfortable to challenge and be challenged.
