The focus of forensic and investigative accounting is the detection, prevention and investigation of commercial irregularity and fraud and support for its resolution, through litigation or alternative means.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Lead and/or participate in corporate investigations and other engagements as directed;
- Co-operate with specialists in data mining and business intelligence;
- Conduct anti-money laundering reviews and fraud risk reviews,
- Assist with the quantification of damages for litigation;
- Draft reports and make presentations to senior management at clients on the findings of work;
- Assist the Regional Leadership of the firm with marketing the firm's services.
- Owing to the substantial growth of its Forensic & Dispute Services division over the last four years, our client is interested in recruiting a professional at the Supervisor/Manager level.
- We are seeking a skilled team player with a strong work ethic and excellent professional skills for the role of Supervisor/Manager.
- Solid accounting knowledge: ACCA studies in progress or equivalent qualification
- Relevant accounting or auditing experience gained in a professional environment. Big Four experience not essential but advantageous
- Valuations expertise an advantage.
- Fluency in written/spoken English is a must and knowledge of another language an advantage.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Flexibility to travel in Romania and South-East Europe.
- Working to tight deadlines under high pressure
- Abilities for marketing the represented line of service
- Minimum 3 ¿ 4 years experience of relevant work experience
Relevant Experience (Minimum three to four years):
- Internal or external audit;
- Liquidation or bankruptcy assignments;
- Government control/investigation.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy, Auditing, Business Administration or equivalent.
