Your role inside our team:
In collaboration with our client – a software and trading products provider from New York, we are going to expand the pole of financial software competencies by adding 2 experienced C++ Developers for server and desktop applications.
This client has a world wide partner network, as they are present with their IT solutions on 4 continents. Their products are addressed to traders, brokers, financial institutions and hedge funds and are being developed taking into account one important rule: innovation.
For the role of Senior C++ Developer we are looking for good-experienced and passionate persons who are interested in challenging, internationally relevant projects.
You will be entrusted with activities that can sustain the core mission and your main focus in this job will be on activities like:
- Development and optimization of innovative server/desktop applications based on C++;
- Create customized solutions;
- Design and development of software for specific customer requirements;
- Support internal and external developers on complex issues.
For both positions (desktop and server based), we will highly value:
A minimum 4 years experience in C++ development;
Advanced English knowledge;
A good combination of rigor, creativity and communication skills;
High autonomy translated in the capacity of taking decisions and finding the best solutions;
Strong development skills with:
- Synchronous and Asynchronous Events
- Multi-threading
- Semaphores
- Safe multi-threading data processing
- Buffers: circular buffers and FIFO
- Memory leaks
Here are other specific selection criteria for each of the 2 positions:
Desktop APP - Strong development skills with:
- MDI and non MDI environment
- General Controls: ribbon, labels, text boxes, title bars, status bars, grids, etc.
- TCP Socket
- ActiveX controls will be a plus
Server APP - Strong development skills with:
- MSSQL DB Access
- TCP/UDP Socket connections
- Data parsing: binary to structure, structure to binary
Will also be a plus:
- Stock Trading knowledge;
- Visual C++ 2010;
- Real time data processing;
- Working knowledge of the real time interfaces.
