Responsabilities:
•Prepares ALM materials for ALCO: Liquidity GAP report, Interest Rate Risk report, Forecasts and simulations on liquidity and interest rate risk, Investment Strategies;
•Monitors Bank’s Balance Sheet, PnL, Liquidity report for NBR, Interest rate risk report for NBR, Capital adequacy legislation;
•Elaborates different reports for the top management regarding business evolution, cost of funds, balance sheet structure, concentration level for deposits/loans;
•Monitors the evolution of deposits from customers and make suggestions for the new levels of interest rates;
•Calculates, reconciles and reports trading book and banking book profitability;
•Reconciles the open currency position of the bank and transfer it to Treasury;
•Maintenance of the databases and reports used in the current activity, involving new developments with IT department or external developer;
•FTP methodology update according to banks strategy;
•Monitors the financial markets and the main macroeconomic indicators in order to relate those with the bank’s indicators and ratios;
•Knows the NBR regulation and estimate the impact of the legislation change related to the job;
•Elaborates opinions on Products, Pricings and other ALCO proposals;
•Participates to the elaboration of the Liquidity procedures and strategy, treasury and market risk regulations, Crisis simulation, Bank’s budgeting;
•Develops and implements new ALM products and participate in the implementation of Trading Products;
•Develops and maintains procedures within department.
Competencies:
•Financial analysis skills (familiar with accounting rules, good knowledge of Banking financial statements structure);
•Good knowledge of Finance, Treasury and Market risk activity;
•Advanced English and MS Office knowledge
