Main functions and duties:
Keeps books in Romanian Accounting Standards
Prepares monthly report in IAS
Invoice posting and payment
Payroll activities
VAT monthly declaration
Salary contributions, income tax and personnel income tax, social security monthly declaration
Completes monthly declaration to unemployment agency, to health authority and labor office
Uploads bank statements
Clears bank statements
Maintains regular communication with the bank
Follow up of client collections
Complete analysis of overdue debt and days of sales collection (DSO)
Maintains regular contact with clients in order to speed up collection
1. Degree in accounting or economics
2. Min. 5 years experience in accounting, out of which at least 2 years working experience as Chief Accountant in an international company.
3. Very good knowledge of RAS and IAS.
4. Very good knowledge about local fiscal laws.
5. Very good knowledge of the English language.
6. Experience in multinational environment is mandatory – experience inside construction materials company is considered a plus
7. Knowledge of SAP would be considered an advantage;
8. Works independently, only exceptionally requires supervision.
9. Works very well with strict deadlines.
10. Analytical and very organized person.
11. Diplomatic, very good problem and conflict solver.
