- Capable and responsible to handle all accounting operations, from primary documents until closing of the balance sheet and trial balance
- Supervision of all accounting operations, ensuring integrity, accuracy and compliance with local and company policies, laws and regulations
- Coordination of monthly/annual closing process
- Coordination of the audit processes, which are performed by third parties
- Preparation of all statutory accounting reports and financial statements
- Ensuring that all fiscal operations are managed and reported properly and in a timely manner to the Tax authorities
- Responsible for monitoring and reviewing the accounting entries and related documents
- Monitor the accounting and tax regulations
- Liaise with fiscal state authorities
- Represent the company in front of any fiscal tax accounting statutory authorities, as needed
- Responsible for the quality of the financial statements of the company
- Propose strategies to control expenses
- Work closely with legal and operational managers to insure the proper timely organization of the companies businesses
- Keep track of any changes in the legislation that may have impact on the accounting activity of the Company
- Economics / Accounting degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in an Accountant role
- Solid knowledge of statutory accounting and fiscal legislation, up to date
- Computer literate
- Dynamic, problem solving and organized person
- Fluent in English, there is constant (daily) liaison with International Group CFO based out of Romania
