Ensure that the accounting records are maintained completely and timely
Liaising with state authorities
Prepare the accounts in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) and IFRS
Ensure that the reporting deadlines are met
Ensure the proper management of payables and receivables
Be proactive and use initiative to clarify issues
Complete other tasks requested by the CFO
Interface with internal and external auditors and with Tax Authorities
Keep updated with changes in tax, RAS and legislation (including VAT, CIT, WHT, Intrastate, Custom Duties, etc)
Ensure the booking of all journal entries and accounting documents (depreciation, prepayments, revaluations)
Ensure the preparation of balance sheet and income statements and various other accounting statements and reports
Review and verify the accuracy of payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers
Prepare the monthly tax and payroll returns
Professional competencies
Education:
Bachelor or higher degree in Economics/Accounting
Requested competences:
Minimum 3 years experience accounting in an business environment which involved intracomunitary operations
Experience in Oracle ERP
Experience in handling tax: VAT, corporate tax, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word)
Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills, organised and proactive attitude.
Capacity to meet assigned deadlines
Languages:
Fluency in English
