Business context

Within Global Operations, the Volume Direct Operations function is responsible to fulfill customer orders for HP Direct business, delivering products and services to customers in Europe/Middle East/Africa.

The Volume Direct Order Management Processes and Support Team is responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining and supporting business processes and systems to optimize productivity, accuracy and business controls for Volume Direct Operations.

The Sales & System Support Administrator is responsible for supporting operational teams on SAP and other systems, maintaining, improving or developing the user documentation as well as interfacing with IT Support team for system improvements, and ensuring good usage of the system within the operational teams, both internal and outsourced.


Job Description

Support operational teams on daily operational issues on order processing activities on SAP and other systems.

Interface with IT Support issues on most complex calls and system bugs.

Initiate, develop, maintain and document business processes and system user guide documentation on order management flows.

Contribute to projects impacting SAP - Fusion Front End and other systems, including validate system capabilities through running User Acceptance Tests and interfacing with related IT organizations.

Deploy new system capabilities within operational teams, train Key Users of operational teams on system updates and new capabilities.

Audit operational teams on system utilization.

Your Profile
Technical skills:

+1 year experience in sales admin support position with basic administrative & clerical support for sales; and / or in SAP or other order management & system 1st level support.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer information systems or equivalent experience.
Broad knowledge in IT Tools (SAP or other systems, report generation and database systems; MS-Office and computer tools) will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of sales supports processes (order tracking; configurations; product
delivery & support).
Professional English at Advanced level.

Experience in maintaining strong working relationships and effective lines of communication with internal partners.
Experience in answering to a wide range of complex inquiries (non-standard solutions).
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
General understanding of procurement processes.
Experience in taking care of ongoing business and system administration.
Experience in training.
