For one of our clients, an international retail chain of pet shops and market leader in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, we are looking for a Sales&Purchasing Manger.
Responsibilities:
Establishing and constantly updating assortment & price policy, which are according to market needs and increasing sales.
Searching for the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase price ratio to ensure targeted profitability.
Purchasing merchandise, including internal consume.
Increasing sales and margins of the company through constant assortment evaluation, bringing new items, delesting old items, finding way to sell slow moving items, preparing monthly Promo Catalogue for shops, negotiating promo prices.
Estimating quantities to order from suppliers, minimum stocks, maximum stocks.
Being responsible for entire assortment for dogs, cats, rodents, birds, terrariums, fish, for life animals, for food and non-food articles.
Cooperating and participating on company strategy development and implementation.
Preparing development and action plans for purchasing department.
Preparing various reports within purchasing department.
University degree-Economy.
Pet market expert and pet care knowledge is an advantage.
Previous experience in buying retail or FMCG position is a must.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to present conclusions.
Experience with retail management programs necessary.
English proficiency – grammatically and verbally high leve.
PC literacy – word, excel, power point – experienced.
SKILLS
Very well organized and methodical, multi tasking necessary.
Very good negotiation skills & analytical skills.
Must be fine with many people, able to speak clearly, very good communication skills.
Problems solving attitude, proactive, independent, optimist.
