An international private institutional asset manager seeks highly motivated individuals to expand its applied research activities in Bucharest. The applicant will initiate and lead efforts on quantitative research projects related to market forecasting and trading strategies. The ultimate objective will be to turn research into practice.
Successful applicants will be highly skilled in a high level language (C/C++/Java), and familiar scripting language (Perl/Python) on Linux platform. Strong statistics/data-mining or similar background is expected. Previous research experience academic or industrial is essential. The applicant must possess excellent research skills, and demonstrate creativity and efficiency in carrying on research projects.
Applicants who won prizes in national/international contests in computer science, mathematics or physics, or can classify themselves in the top 10% best performance individuals in their group, holding a graduate degree (PhD or a master), are highly encouraged to apply.
