•Assistance in preparation of monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Disclosure Notes);
•Convert local currency results and upgrade Romanian accounting results to IFRS standards;
•Identification and recording of monthly adjustments which reflect differences between statutory and IFRS accounting;
•Maintenance of the IFRS accruals listing, including reconciling actual with estimates;
•Perform special reviews of the general ledgers by analyzing and reconciling the various accounts; determine why certain problem areas have occurred and make recommendations within standard policy to correct the situation;
•Gather the data from departments, investigate and analyze them;
•Work closely with Business Applications team for updates and changes in the systems;
•Provide support to auditors;
•Perform complex reconciliations and other tests to ensure:accuracy of data;adherence to control procedures;proper presentation of actual results;detection of risk associated;
•To keep up to date with changes of the accounting and tax Romanian and international standards.
•Basic: Bachelor of Economic Science;
•Minimum two years in the financial accounting area;
•Knowledge and understanding of CAPEX and OPEX in telecom business;
•Advanced knowledge of accounting standards;
•Excellent English;
•Microsoft Office advanced knowledge (Word, Excel);
•Ability tom manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines;
•Excellent analytical abilities and innovative to solve problems;
•Good organizational and facilitation skills;
•Capacity to acquire knowledge and insight in a short period of time.
