MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Employment Planning
- Recruitment and Selection:
- drawing up the job description, together with the Department Director
- preparing & posting the job announcement;
- evaluating the response, selecting the most promising applicants and closing out those not qualified
- screening interviews
- notifying the selected candidates as well as the not-selected candidates
- presentation to the Department Director of a preliminary file of each of the short-listed candidates
- arranging the interviews with the Department Director
- assistance during the negotiations with the selected candidate on terms and conditions of employment, whilst preserving confidentiality with both parties at all times
- Hiring Procedure
- medical check - up: prior to making the employment contract
- drawing up the employment contract and registering it at the Work Office
- New hire orientation
- handing to the employee the "Booklet for the New Employee", containing the brief description of the company and its policies
- drawing up the "New Employee Training Program", together with the Department Director, in order to provide an appropriate development program
- control of the progress of training
- assessment of the training, from trainee's point of view, and as well from the trainer and from trainee's supervisor, with a focus on the grade of interest, adapting and usage
- University degree.
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of local employment and HR laws and legal requirements.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity.
- Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach;
- Must be able to work in an environment where systems are changing and evolving;
- Be party to sensitive financial and personal information and thus confidentiality is of paramount importance in this post.
