• Maintains a clean and organized work/guests area
• Has a high-level of organization, accuracy, attention-to-detail, and sense-of-urgency at all times
• Receives all food, canned or frozen;
• Carefully counts and/or weigh items received for correct amount and for compliance with purchase specifications
• Orders all goods and supplies based on department needs, keeping in mind time required for pre-preparation and for special function advanced bookings
• Meets all sanitation guidelines for storage
• Provides accurate data base for food cost-of-sale reporting and tracking information
• Keeps accurate purchase orders and logs
• Assists in weekly and end-of-month Cafe inventories
• Ensures product availability to provide constant and uninterrupted flow of products and services
• Inspects, accepts, and/or refuses all deliveries in order to maintain established quality standards
• Establishes accurate product par levels based on the Cafe’s business requirements
• Develops and maintains proper and professional relations with suppliers
• Writes legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions
• Maintains inventory and quality levels for the daily operation of the Café.
